DCS operate based on the selection of controllers, processors, input and output modules, actuators and mechanical equipment. The choice of each type of equipment depends on the exact mathematical calculations of the advanced control circles and the extraction of the requirements. In the Fieldbus Control system (FCS), instead of controlling vastly by processors, the information is collected in the field layer by industrial bus and eventually transmitted to the central processor.
